Yes! Cathy Freeman Park is a dog-friendly venue. Please make sure your dog is on a leash and you pick up after them.

Cathy Freeman Park is very close to the Olympic Park train station, just a 50m walk. There are many bus options to get to the Park. You can plan your trip by visiting Transport NSW or clicking here.

There are 8 on-street accessible spaces on Showground Road and 10 on-street accessible spaces on Olympic Boulevard, which is close to Cathy Freeman Park. These spaces are free and you need to make sure you display your Mobility Parking Permit to avoid fines.

There are limited car parks so also consider pre-booking in the paid parking structures to ensure you have a space.

The closest car parks are P1 and P8. Parking is $6 per hour or $30 per day. Have a look at the Map here to plan your journey.

Parking is expected to be moderate on 26 August due to other events on within Sydney Olympic Park. If you are planning to drive, please pre-book your parking to guarantee a spot here.

We understand that this is expensive for many people, so we encourage attendees to take public transport of park off-site and take advantage of a short train trip into the venue.

We look forward to sharing the 2023 Deaf Festival Program with you soon!
